My brother and I were inclined towards fashion and ultimately planned to venture into the fashion industry & textiles to explore the exports segment, we formed our company INVITATION APPARELS P.LTD in the year 1991.
I always believed that education and experience always go hand in hand, had practical working in the said industry and factories at each segment be it yarn, fabric, processing of fabric till the finished product, to gain knowledge academically joined the premium institute NIFT and gained tremendous details technically about merchandising, textiles, weaves, fibres, dyes, techniques and finished product.
Having the basics at its place, did a management course in exports and imports from the esteemed St. Xavier's college and that helped a lot as for the general procedure about customs, JCCI &E( now DGFT ), also in-depth knowledge about the different ports in the world with all the statistics of various commodities and specifically to our segment that is textiles and its potential.
Later got an opportunity to stay in Europe during the mid-90s for a student exchange programme got great exposure as to living standards, market segment, distribution channels, organized and unorganized network a lot of information helped us understand our market.
Our company was established and we expanded our customer base from Europe to the USA, working with a few of the most prestigious brands like Hema, Vroom & Dressman, Globus, Conforama, Alcampo, Kare Design, Maison du monde, Country corner, Bed bath & beyond, Hillcrest to name a few.
JeeL, backed by a young team with a simple corporate mission to excel in developing trendy, value-added household textiles including bed linen, table linen, curtains, cushion covers and other soft household textiles worldwide.
We offer finely crafted products giving them individuality and uniqueness. We at JeeL the suppliers and customers alike swear by long-term relationships resulting in consistency and quality services. We take inspiration from different regions and various parts of the diverse Indian community.
We have a well-developed vendor base throughout the globe and have been exhibiting for many years our latest collections at the IHGF fair in
Delhi and also at the Heimtextil Frankfurt.
